Lykan Hypersport

The Lykan Hypersport is a limited production sports car by W Motors, a Lebanese based company founded in 2012. It is the first supercar to be produced in the Middle East. W Motors plans to produce only seven units of the car. The first pre-production Lykan HyperSport was launched at the International Dubai Motor Show in November 2013.

Third most expensive car in the world

At US$3.4 million, the Lykan HyperSport is the third most expensive car to ever be made, behind the very limited (four created, three sold) Lamborghini Veneno (US$4.5 million) and the one-off Maybach Exelero (US$8 million). As reference, the Lykan Hypersport is over US$1 million more expensive than the Bugatti Veyron Supersport, which holds the title of most expensive production car in the world.

The cause of the car's high price tag is due to its included options. It is the first car to have diamonds in its headlights. The front lights are made up of titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds (15cts). The buyer can choose which rubies and diamonds they want embedded in the headlights. In addition, the client can choose between a selection of rubies, diamonds, yellow diamonds, or sapphires to be integrated into the vehicle at purchase.

Performance

The Lykan HyperSport is powered by a twin turbo flat-six 3.7-litre (3746 cc) engine from Porsche, producing 552 kW (740 bhp; 751 PS) and 960 N·m (708 lb·ft) of torque.The car is claimed to have a top speed of 385 km/h (239 mph) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 2.8 seconds.

Lamborghini Canto – What the Murcielago could have been?

Back in the late 1990s, when Lamborghini were starting to realise they needed a replacement for the ageing Diablo, they started reviewing design proposals from various automotive design firms. Zagato’s offering was the Zagato L147 SuperDiablo, or as it was to be later known, the Lamborghini Canto. The Lamborghini Canto first appeared in 1998, it arrived only two years after another Zagato designed Lamborghini concept had been unveiled, the Diablo-based Raptor. The cars shared a number of similar features, including the wraparound windows, triangular lateral air intakes, and trademark double-bubble roof. Lamborghini Resonare Concept

The Lamborghini Resonare concept was created by 29-year-old Polish designer Pawel Czyzewski, it took him whole year to complete in exterior and interior details by using the Autodesk 3DS MAX software for modeling and rendering. According to Pawel Czyzewski, the main goal was to create a very futuristic, luxury, provocative and aggressive look, while still keep the Lamborghini style with the body line of the brand. Pawel Czyzewski was born in 1985 and currently resides in Lubin, Poland. He graduated from the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska in Lublin and is focused on: Automotive Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design.
