Aston Martin DBC Concept by Samir Sadikhov

Transportation designer Samir Sadikhov, previously known for his work with Ferrari Xerzri Concept and for a series of striking supercar renderings, has drawn up a beautiful mid-engine rear-wheel-drive concept for Aston Martin called the DBC concept.
The DBC features a number of traditional Aston Martin design cues such as the front grille shape and the typical side strakes found on all Aston Martin models. The concept idea was to ensure that the car’s design was pure, clean and modern, while at the same time it would be still recognizable as an Aston Martin car.

This concept combines exclusivity and extremes in one single supersportcar. The name says it all. The most valuable mineral in the world stands for luxury, but also for naturalness, pureness, hardness and beauty – exactly as the dream car with the white collar. Its extremely flat silhouette is flanked by sharply outlined edges, the curved surface appears to be unpolished, rough, precious. The aerodynamic system uses movable wings to ...

Hennessy are a well known and respected tuning outfit who are probably best known for producing high-horsepower upgrade kits for large displacement US muscle cars - although they actually offer performance products for several European and Japanese manufacturers too. Previously the company, which has been around since 1991, have stuck to making other manufacturers cars go faster. But with the Venom GT Hennessey are venturing into more of a manufacturer-style role. The car's still a donor - as evidenced by the recognizable Lotus Elise profile. However its not just a simple engine swap, there's been a significant change in the car's overall setup and dimensions. "This is not the first time that Britain and America have joined forces to produce a weapon of mass propulsion", said company founder and president, John Hennessey. "Over fifty years ago the American-built P-51 Mustang fighter aircraft was flown into history powered by a British Rolls-Royce Merlin eng...
