Pagani Zonda

The global economy may be on the outs but Pagani is moving forward with the development of an all-new Zonda F -- the first major update in the car's 10-year history. Spy photographers spotted Pagani's latest supercar undergoing a series of tests in North America, with the new Zonda F inching towards production ready.Up front, this next-generation Zonda F will get an all-new front clip. In back, the rear quarter panels have been re-sculpted to allow for significantly increased airflow. The rear diffuser has also been redesigned and there is a totally new air scoop that sticks up from the middle of the engine cover.Inside the previously spied prototype, we can see the "Zonda F" nameplate above several toggle switches. Other than a new shifter, we don't see any major interior changes. This Pagani has absolutely enormous 335/30/ZR20 Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires in back and 255/35/ZR19 tires in front. Inside the wheels are equally enormous carbon ceramic brake rotors. What powerplant this supercar might be packing is a bit of a mystery. Pagani certainly wants to keep the motor a secret as the clear engine compartment panels were covered with black tape. Judging from the new, larger air intakes on this prototype, whichever motor resides under the cover obviously needs more airflow than the Mercedes AMG 7.3L V8 found in the current Zonda F.There are rumors of the 5.4L supercharged V8 from the McLaren SLR 722 or perhaps the bi-turbo V12 from the recently debuted Mercedes SL65 AMG Black series providing motivation for the Zonda F. Whatever the motor - which will be sourced from AMG -- it should be good for 600-700hp.The new car is being designed for the U.S. and Japan and should be ready for launch sometime in 2009. Although pricing is far from official, expect an MSRP of at least $650,000. Because of high demand, Pagani will also boost production to 60 cars a year, up from its current annual production of 16 units.

Price: $1,800,000.00

McLaren P2 by Rakesh

The McLaren P2 is a concept created by Rakesh Bag , a Student of The Aditya Birla Public School , Veraval , Gujarat from INDIA The styling of the McLaren P2 is more attractive and less clinical than the McLaren P1 , but you can bet your entire worldly possessions on the fact every last millimetre of the bodywork has been extensivley analysed in the windtunnel. The front is unique and original, the way lower part of the bumper flows back into the ‘C’ shaped headlights is inspired. And the P2’s rear end has got to be one of the best in the business. Stunning. “the McLaren P1 and P2 will be the result of 50 years of racing and road car heritage. Twenty years ago we raised the supercar performance bar with the McLaren F1 and our goal with the McLaren P1 and P2 is to redefine it once again.” “Our aim is not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit,” adds McLaren Automotive Managing Director Anton...

1947 - 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith

SPECIFICATIONS: year: 1947 - 1959 make: Rolls-Royce Model: Wraith Engine: Inline-6 Transmission: 4-Speed Manual Horsepower @ RPM: 135 Displacement: 4880 L The Silver Wraith, launched in 1947, was an evolution of the pre-war Wraith and was offered in the traditional chassis form ready for the fitting of Bespoke coachwork. The 4,257cc overhead-inlet, side-exhaust engine developed before the war was used, as well as a modified coil and wishbone independent front suspension. Hydraulic brakes were used for the first time on a Rolls-Royce with hydraulic brakes. Following their pre-war tradition of manufacturing a rolling-chassis only, Rolls-Royce delivered these cars to be bodied by independent coachbuilders. Some rationalization however was apparent because the sister model Bentley Mark VI incorporated into a 7 inches shorter frame the same major technical components. The Silver Wraith outlived the Mark VI and in fact survived until 1959 having been modernised step by step with vit...
