Hyundai Blue2

The Hyundai Blue2 is a FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) which debuted at the 2011 Seoul Motor Show.
The Blue2 gets its name from a combination of Hyundai's environmentally-friendly division 'Blue Drive', and the number '2' - as in H2, the symbol for hydrogen.
The Hyundai Blue2 concept is powered by a fuel cell electric system that delivers 120 hp (90kW) of power, and fuel economy of 82 mpg (34.9km/l). The impressive fuel economy is aided by low-resistance tires and alloy wheels which are optimized to improve aerodynamic performance.
Despite its eco-credentials the Hyundai Blue2 is quite an imposing machine. The solid stance coupled with the no-nonsense design means that it looks more like a midrange luxury car than an affordable Hyundai. And that's good because Hyundai say that the Blue2; "shows a blueprint for future sedans."
The Blue2's styling was driven by the design department's keywords of 'Intersected Flow'. What that means in words normal humans use is that the Blue2 has flowing body contours which are broken up by additional styling features - the black stripe which underscores the doors for example. The Hyundai Blue2's condition is visible via unique images on the exterior of the car displayed on the outside via LED screen panels, which are located on both the front and rear of the car. Conventional side mirrors are replaced by side cameras and a roof camera.
The Hyundai Blue2 concept also features a 'welcome system' which recognizes the driver and also opens the door automatically. The exterior styling is mirrored inside the Blue2, with asymmetrically-designed dashboards and doors. Wider seats enable people to get in and out of the vehicle more comfortably.
Hyundai combined the gauge cluster and center console, equipping it with an advanced Transparent Organic Light Emitting Diode (TOLED) monitor and ultra-light tempered glass, called Gorilla Glass, providing more accurate and vivid graphic information. The infotainment system is operated by a haptic wheel and motion sensor that respond to the driver's touch and hand movements. Rounding out the unique interior features are an ionizer which cleans and refreshes the air in the cabin and antibacterial leather.

The front is unique and original, the way lower part of the bumper flows back into the ‘C’ shaped headlights is inspired. And the P2’s rear end has got to be one of the best in the business. Stunning. “the McLaren P1 and P2 will be the result of 50 years of racing and road car heritage. Twenty years ago we raised the supercar performance bar with the McLaren F1 and our goal with the McLaren P1 and P2 is to redefine it once again.” “Our aim is not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit,” adds McLaren Automotive Managing Director Anton...
