The Maserati Bora concept is a study of a modern two-seater sports coupe inspired by the iconic Maserati Bora from the 1970′s. It was designed by Turin IED graduate Alexander Imnadze. The 3D renderings by Alexander showcase a mid-engine sports car, which combines modern design features such as the carved surface treatment and details like the large side air openings, with a number of trademark Maserati elements, including the expanded front grille, the muscular shoulders, the three side vents behind the front wheels. The idea for designing the Maserati Bora concept was to capture the GT spirit of the original Bora, which was built in less than 600 units from 1971 to 1978. The Maserati LaMaserati is a hypercar concept created by Staffordshire University transport design graduate Mark Hostler. His previous works include the very pointy Lamborghini Ferruccio conceptfrom 2012. The LaMaserati concept was created as a conceptual flagship for Maserati, to take-over where the MC12 left off. And just like the MC12 – which was based on the Ferrari Enzo chassis – the LaMaserati would be based on, yep you guessed it, the LaFerrari chassis. Yet while the two cars would share the same underpinnings, visually they would be worlds apart. Even the drivetrain is radically altered, with the KERS system from the LaFerrari being ditched, and the 6.3 litre V12 being re-tuned to make up for the power reduction. Maserati put a fresh face on its Kubang concept nameplate and showed a striking, new crossover SUV concept at the recent Frankfurt auto show. The Italian automaker showed the original Kubang concept in 2003, when few luxury brands were considering a sport-utility vehicle. A truck still may seem bipolar for this maker of hand-tooled sports cars and sports sedans, but all the tools for activation are now at hand. The Trofeo Maserati is a single-marque motorsport championship that was started by Maserati Corse in 2003, with the introduction of the Maserati 4200. Its title is commonly confused as Maserati Trofeo, which in fact refers to the name devised for the 4200 Coupé built for the series. The Maserati Birdcage 75th was a concept car created and designed by a Pininfarina design team led by Lowie Vermeersch, including Jason Castriota and Giuseppe Randazzo under the direction of Ken Okuyama. The Maserati GranCabrio Sport is an enhanced version of the GranCabrio, one which offers better handling and performance over the standard car, and also complements vehicles like the GranTurismo S and Quattroporte Sport GT S in the company's 'sport' range. The Maserati GranCabrio Sport uses a more powerful, yet more efficient, version of Maserati's 4.7 litre V8. The output of 450 horsepower is 10 hp up on the standard car, and the torque figure of 510 Nm is 20 Nm more than the normal GranCabrio. Despite these higher performance figures the engine is 6 percent more efficient on fuel thanks to Maserati's 'Friction Reduction Program'. The Maserati MC12 is a limited production two-seater supercar produced by Italian car maker Maserati to allow a racing variant to compete in the FIA GT Championship. The car was nicknamed by Ferrari and Maserati as the Ferrari Enzo Second Generation. The car entered production in 2004 with 25 cars produced. A further 25 were produced in 2005 making a total of 50 cars available for customers, each of which was pre-sold for €600,000.[5][8] Maserati designed and built the car on the chassis of the Ferrari Enzo, due to this Ferrari and Maserati nicknamed the car as the Ferrari Enzo Second Generation. The Maserati Levante is a luxury crossover SUV based on the Kubang concept vehicle that debuted in the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, and will be built by Maserati at the Mirafiori factory, in Turin, Italy in 2014. Rear of Maserati Kubang concept When it is released, the Levante will feature Maserati's 3.0L V6 engine, in two states of tune. By 2018, a 560 horsepower V8 will be added. There is an 8-Speed ZF Automatic Transmission from the sixth generation Maserati Quattroporte. The Levante will be four-wheel-drive. Maserati Alfieri is a concept car from the Italian car manufacturer Maserati that was first shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but has since been confirmed for production. It is named after Alfieri Maserati (1887–1932), one of the five Maserati Brothers, and marks the 100 year anniversary of the Maserati car maker, which was established 1914 in Bologna.
